Vireo solitarius
I was only able to get these three pictures of this little blue-headed vireo. This is my first spotting of a vireo!! Its length is about 4 1/2 inches. Has white spectacles, dark eye, white wing bars, gray head contrasting with olive back, white throat, breast, and undertail coverts, yellowish flanks, thick bill with hooked upper mandible. Sexes similar. Juveniles similar to adults.
This blue-headed vireo was spotted in a pine tree along the forest edge at Salt Springs Recreation area in Ocala National Forest in Florida
