Byssocorticium sp.
Powder to sky blue crust fungus with golden exudate. Some areas of this fungus have turned a muddy green. Species within the Byssocorticium genus are corticoid (crust-type fungi) and saprobic on deadwood. While I'm thinking this is likely Byssocorticium atrovirens, I cannot reliably say without microscopy. This is a first time spotting for this genus on Project Noah.
Found on the underside of two highly rotted logs in a dense mixed hardwood/coniferous forest in Northwest Georgia (Gordon County), US. This fungus is abundant on the undersides of rotting logs this fall.
