Orb Weaver

Eriophora sp.

Description:

A medium sized orb weaver which was a rust brown all over. A faint leaf shaped pattern with a jagged outline could be seen on the dorsal side of the abdomen as in most spiders of this species. It had tinges of green.

Habitat:

Spotted under a fine webbing of silk on a leaf of a Mountain Hickory Wattle. (Mt Donna Buang)

Notes:

probably a pregnant female. Family: Araneidae
