Silver-Spotted Skipper

Epargyreus clarus

Description:

Brown moth (?) with yellowish orange spots on its wings. Sorry I couldn't get a better picture.

Habitat:

North America

Notes:

We do have sweet peas near where I saw it (sweet peas listed as one of their nectar flowers), but this was actually on our butterfly bush. I was surprised that this plant is not listed as a food source for them.
