Northern Goshawk

Accipiter gentilis

Description:

this hawk was brought in to the bird rescue by the animal ambulance, he was nearly death. but because the work of the volunteers he survived and the picture was made when we but it back to nature. we were not sure of it's flying ability, but when I released him he flew like he never did before. beautiful bird, this one was still young because it's feathers. when he is older he gets the horizontal strips on his chest.
