Description:

A dark grey Egret with a white throat from the west coast of Africa, only around 20 l have ever been recorded in Spain in the past, it is considered an accidental. I verified the ID with the "Rare Birds of Spain" group. Interestingly the same bird was seen a few days later near Teruel.

Habitat:

Marshes near coast.
