Hermit Crab

Description:

A large specimen, with white eye stalks and hairy appendages.

Notes:

This huge hermit was inside a 10-cm-long cone-shaped shell (the crenulate auger). Spotted it during a day dive in about 8m of water at the Marissa 2 dive site, off the western coast of Samal Island.
