Mushroom

Description:

Massive mushroom. Leathery texture, slightly moist. Brown.

Habitat:

Growing under some trees in the Birds of Prey Centre right on the banks of the freshwater Lake Lomond in Scotland. Wooded area and it was raining.

Notes:

I saw many kinds of mushrooms in Scotland some monstrously large...is there a book on English mushrooms? Would love to ID these Plus, I regretted not knowing the edible ones.
