Using clean scissors, cut of the stem as high up as you can. Place the cap (gills facing down) onto a fresh piece of tinfoil. Place a clear drinking glass on top to seal off the area. Allow 12-24 hours (roughly) and check the color of the spore print.

Spore prints are not only cool looking, they are helpful in the identification process. I usually take my prints on tin foil for color contrast.
