Trametes versicolor

Description:

Caps, up to 3 cm across; very thin; tough but flexible; semicircular bracket-shaped; often fused with other caps; finely hairy; with concentric zones of white, and blue-gray. Pore Surface, whitish-brown due to age, mainly circular pores although with some distortion due to the shape of the bracket.

Habitat:

Growing on hardwood stump, on Orange Trail, on floodplain above the Oconee River.
