A round isolated mushroom growing in a decaying birch tree that has a cap with a white center and a brown exterior.

Habitat:

A deciduous forest comprised of both birch and maple trees.

Notes:

This is the only mushroom in this specific forest. The mushroom has a very dry cap and an earthy odor.
