Baby Eastern Gray squirrels

Sciurus carolinensis

Description:

One morning I walked outside of my house. These were laying on our brick path. I looked above me at our tree, but there was no nest. There were 3 of them, but one died. We brought the 2 that were still alive to a place where they rescue animals, called Bailey Arboretum. About a week later, we got an email saying that the 2 baby squirrels did not make it. ;(

Habitat:

Outside, NY.

Sorry about the picture everyone. It may be hard to see their heads in the first picture, but in the second I think it's fine. ;)
