You are welcome. Cool snake!

Thanks Lisa, it's on the Sri Lanka list so I've updated the spotting.

For what it is worth, my educated guess is a Dendrelaphis tristis.

The head seems to be a better match but the markings not so much. Here's a Buff-striped keelback found in another part of Sri Lanka: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/826...
But as I wrote below I'm not convinced. I hope some of our Sri Lankan spotters or others can help you further!

How about Brown Vine Snake (Ahaetulla pulverulenta) ?

I have not yet found if this list is complete: http://yalanationalparkblog.blogspot.com...

At first glance I thought it might be a Buff striped keelback (Amphiesma stolatum) but the head doesn't seem to match. It also seems quite long.
