Stiletto Fly

Ozodiceromyia sp.

Description:

Smaller fly. Gray, elongated body with black striping on abdomen and thorax. Reddish-brown large eyes. Similar in size to a housefly but with a longer body. Clear wings.

Habitat:

Suburban garden.

Notes:

Seems to resemble some members of Genus Ozodiceromyia most closely. Either Ozodiceromyia notata or Ozodiceromyia argentata. Thank you BugEric for your help!
