It definitely looks like an Orbweaver, I agree with ForestDragon. To me it resembles Neoscona crucifera. It's a cool macro shot, indeed!
This is a very neat macro shot. Do you have any other views of this spider? It will be hard to ID it without being able to see its whole body. It may be an Orbweaver but it is difficult to tell.
