...larger than most raptors, a bald eagle has broad wings that can span up to 90 inches yet only weighs an average 10-14 lbs.

Habitat:

river, lake, reservoir, and ocean coastlines

Notes:

Not long ago, these majestic birds were in danger of extinction due to hunting and pesticides. Today, these raptors can be commonly seen near large bodies of water throughout the United States and Canada.
