Andaman Cruiser

Vindula erota pallida

Description:

The Andaman Cruiser,also known as the Pale Cruiser is a Andaman Islands endemic species. As compared to the Vidula erota found in the main land, this sub species is much more paler in color. Hence the sub species "pallida." With a wing span around 72-110 mm.

Habitat:

Cruiser is normally seen along the semi evergreen & evergreen forests as it prefers moist environment. The Cruiser can be seen in abundance just after monsoon.
