I stumbled upon this rhinoceros beetle on the way back to my cabin one night during my research in Suriname. I don't know the exact species although I'm almost certain it belongs to the genus Megasoma. Sorry the photos aren't more clear, my iPhone was having trouble focusing and the beetle didn't like the light.
