Description:

Eriphia verrucosa, sometimes called the yellow crab is a species of crab found in the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and eastern Atlantic Ocean from Brittany to Mauritania and the Azores. It is a rather common Greek species of crab, and the pictured adult was spotted foraging in shallow water, in Skyros island, Greece.
