Dog vomit slime mould

Fuligo septica

Description:

I think it's a slime mould maybe Fuligo septica var. flava growing on moss which is growing on a coniferous tree stump. Maybe the image with the white 'mould' is a different stage of the same slime mould?

Notes:

I took some of the yellow sample home and I'm going to try and culture it using a wet paper towel and feeding it oat flakes (see last picture). On the left of the last picture the small smears of yellow are this spotting... The clear one to the right is a previous attempt at culturing slime mould, I don't know whether this is working or not
