Atlas Moth

Description:

This specimen has an 11.3 inch wingspan more or less. Atlas moth is the world's largest moth in overall size, though the Owlet moth (Thysania agrippina) has greater wingspan. The sexes are similar in pattern and appearance. Caterpillar feeds on several plants, in our place, soursop fruit's young leaves is one of its favorite.

Habitat:

Lowland and tropical forest.
