I found this on the Franconia ridge trail in new hamsphire. It looks like Diapensia to me, but according to my guides, that species flowers in may/June. Is it mountain Sandwort? Thanks!!!!

Yeah, you've got it: Mountain sandwort (Arenaria groenlandica). Nice spot!
