American Crow

Corvus brachyrhynchos

Habitat:

Small town neighbourhood surrounded by sub-boreal forest.

Notes:

We named this crow White Wing. He/she has been in our neighborhood for two years and has white wings (of course) and white feathers on it's neck. It flocks with completely black crows and is probably related to them. Not sure how often this happens but it's pretty fun to watch. Hard to get a picture of it flying though. I'll try again this year.
