Chaenomeles sp.
This tree is commonly seen around Montevideo city; some of them decorate parks and streets. This one in particular is at Saint George´s School and nobody knows its name; I was told is a japanese tree but I am not sure as I do not have any other reference. I would appreciate some ID help; thanks.
