Hi joelenetamm and welcome to Project Noah! Poor bird! Here in So-Cal, we have both the Allen's and Rufous hummingbirds that look like this. They're very difficult to differentiate but one of the key factors in identification are the outermost tail feathers. Do you have an image showing the tip of the tail?
