Project Noah Nature School
It was about 5 or 6cm long and I found it in Varzea forest. It is in the rainforest so it is very dark, the canopy is very thick. There are usually a lot of these guys on the ground but not many make it. This picture was taken by the Tahuayo river in Peru. The Tahuayo river is a tributary of the Amazon river.
So excellent. How big is the seed? That and the exact location would help in finding the ID.
great capture..to show germination..
Perfect start of a new life!! Amazing spot! Looks being in the middle of the rainforest where light is usually very sparse.
