Description:

Aggressive climber with arrow-shaped variegated leaves.

Habitat:

Growing in a large semi-urban yard & garden at the bases of several matoa trees (Pometia pinnata) or along a boundary fence in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.

I'm glad you found the species. Project Noah is a huge, often untapped resource. This species hails from Mexico to Bolivia but has spread to various places around the world.

35 yrs.ago we found a baby of this exact plant at a garden center in Northern Illinois. We have kept it alive and thriving while searching for another like it. Today my search has ended! I know it's origins!
