Haematomma fenzlianum

Description:

Thallus white or cream to light pink and cracked. Apothecia are the blood red disc with a smooth white rim, 0.5-1.5 mm in diam.

Habitat:

Spotted on a vertical face of a large boulder at Mt. Magazine in Arkansas. Mixed forest . Elevation 2750 ft.
