Description:

A black carpenter bee standing on top of a dried stick. This species is one of the largest known bee species in the word. Males and females cannot be easily differentiated by colors.

Habitat:

Around Nirvana Memorial Park, Tuaran, Sabah.

Notes:

My very first carpenter bee photographs. Since young (primary school), I have been observing these large bees hovering around the big tree opposite my classroom. >>>Map accuracy : 200m diameter.
