Pleated sea squirt?

Styela plicata

Habitat:

Spotted on a dock pylon in the Indian River, approx. 15 inches below the surface

Notes:

Because it is such an abundant member of the 'fouling' communities, there is some debate as to whether it is native or introduced to the Indian River Lagoon.
