White-tailed Deer

Odocoileus virginianus

Description:

two naive deer on the trail ahead of me, check out the video

Habitat:

temperate forest

Notes:

These 2 young deer walked out onto the trail ahead of me. I couldn't believe they didn't run away, even after I took a bunch of photos. Eventually they went up and over the hill to the right.

Thanks Gilma and Cammie. I was fairly close, maybe about 20' while they were on the stone road and about 30' for the first photo.
