Themisto Clearwing (Borboleta-do-Manacá)

Description:

Found these butterflies mating on a tree called manacá-da-serra, near from my house. That tree was totally full of caterpillars! So I took one branch with a cocoon, and let it in a vase, on the yard. The time passed, the cocoon changed inside, and finally the metamorphosis was complete! Could see and register this beautiful hatching in my house!
