Description:

Caps up to 25mm across, convex with slight flat at top; Moist, almost translucent, striated; stipe glutinous; up to 35mm tall; gills white and free, very slightly adnexed.

Habitat:

In a public sports parkland within chipped bark mulch and leaf litter.

Notes:

An Australian species similar to M. subvulgaris - ID'd by Bruce Fuhrer, 'A field guide to Australian fungi'
