Beautiful Deliochus

Deliochus pulcher

Description:

A small spider with spindly green legs and an abdomen with orange, black, yellow cream. Tucked into a small curved leaf. About 10mm long curled up. Some eyes just visible. The tips of the legs were black.

Habitat:

On eucalyptus in a local nature reserve.

Notes:

Thanks Alice Greenup for finding it. The abdomen on these seems quite variable. http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_... http://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:b...
