Notes:

I spotted this feeding on fresh horse dung in Short Hills park. It was totally engrossed in feeding and let me get very close. It wasn't too pleasant getting that close to fresh dung but it was worth it for the shots.

Wow, could have fooled me bayucca! Thanks for the ID. Thanks Karen, yeah, I've gotten some good shots of feeding butterflies, that's the only time they don't move much.

Nice series! Butterflies & moths "mud puddle" in mud, dung, urine, rotting fruit, & animal carcasses for the minerals.

It is actually a diurnal moth from the Geometridae family! Trichodezia albovittata.
