Light green fella with a dark stripe and an elongated abdomen, not sure if that's a stinger or serves some other function. This one was in my garage

Ah I see, very cool
Hi nice spotting. It looks like a Katydid Nymph. Luckily its not a stinger on the back, its probably an ovipositor for depositing eggs.
