Description:

From Wikipedia: The Coppersmith Barbet, Crimson-breasted Barbet or, in Indonesian, Takur ungkut-ungkut (Megalaima haemacephala), is a bird with crimson forehead and throat which is best known for its metronomic call that has been likened to a coppersmith striking metal with a hammer.

Habitat:

Found in farmland in the Masgo area on the edge of the Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra.

Notes:

The second picture depicts a juvenile seen about 300 meters away from the first sighting. Notice the lack of red on the head and chest.
