Indian Moon Moth

Description:

A beautiful pale lime green colored moth with markings or eyes resembling 4 full moons having dark crescent moons on its wings. Wingspan: around 6 cm. Length: around 6 to 6.5 cm.

Habitat:

Found on the leaf of wild banana plants on the top of a mountain fort, in a empty water cistern. Place was shaded, cool and not having direct sunlight. It was cloudy.

Notes:

There were snails on that same leaf where the moth was found.
