Weird little moth! About an inch long. Color and pattern resembles wood or tree bark. Had a pointed tuft on it's head.
Lovely! Somewhat reminiscent of Sphinx kalmiae, but different family. Very similar to Cucullia asteroides... http://bugguide.net/node/view/7845
