Phaenicia sericata (Lucilia sericata)
Blowfly, probably the common green bottle fly, found in most areas of the world.
This spotting on yellow walking iris (Neomarica longifolia) in a large semi-urban yard & garden adjacent to a disturbed remnant patch of forest.

never thought I'd say this of a fly - but he is handsome ! - even is abdomen looks metallic...
