Description:

Cap, pores, and stem yellow. Stem was reticulate. Pores bruised slightly and turned mushy when marked. Cap was approximately 2.5 inches.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground in a deciduous forest. It was growing right next to an Old Man of the Woods mushroom (Strobilomyces sp.).
