Bewick's Wren

Thryomanes bewickii

Description:

Bewick’s Wrens are medium-sized wrens with a slender body and a strikingly long tail often held upright. They have slender, long bills that are slightly downcurved.

Habitat:

A wildlife habitat garden.

Notes:

This one was blending nicely with the ground where it was hunting for insects.

I would have loved to capture more than one this time, but this busy bird did not cooperate. This spotting was a continuation of documentation about the birds in my garden. There were 2 pairs of Bewick's Wrens nesting in my garden this year. I have 7 other spottings with multiple photos (better photos) on some if you wish to search my spottings.
