Description:

Small falcon being a little heavier then the A. Kestral. Dark on back and brown streaks down the chest and belly. Grey beak, pale mustache, dark crown and light line from beak and over the eye. Legs and feet are yellow. Fast flier and hunts either on flight or perched on branches.

Habitat:

This one prefered bare trees to see better with.

May have been a mouse but I think they prefer to eat small birds.

Today I saw it eating it's prey perched way up high. Rather precarious, i thought, it had to do a balancing act.

Thank you Christy. Last year the only shot I got was so blurry I was amazed it was IDd. Then I had another one way up in a tree. This one was a lot closer and didn't seem to mind I was there.
