Sharpshooter

Cicadellinae sp.

Description:

3 mm long leaf hopper

Habitat:

Semi rural

Notes:

Terrible photo but it was raining & the light was poor. I've never seen a blue-eyed sharpshooter so I thought I would share it anyway!

Keith, I'm not sure if this is a rare color morph or a blue-eyed species. I did a quick trawl through bugguide without finding a match but I will send them the image & see if they can ID first.

Could you please add to rare color morphs mission, it's for plants and animals we find that are not there normal color, and if this isn't supposed to have blue eyes then it's perfect for the mission!
