Sharp-shinned Hawk - Juvenile

Accipiter striatus

Habitat:

Suburban yard

Notes:

I am pretty sure on this one. All of the field marks checked out; I used Kaufmann's Guide To Advanced Birding! If I'm wrong, please tell me! It also gave very high pitched chirps when I alarmed it. It failed in an attempt to catch a house sparrow at my feeder.
