Donna, I think I must disagree with you. I believe this is a moth. See the last picture with the wings folded. Also, the antennae are thin from base to tip. I believe this is a moth from Noctuoidea, possibly Noctuidae (Owlet Moth).
Some type of Skipper (butterfly that looks quite a bit like a moth).
