Oleander Hawk Moth

Description:

About 7cm in length & was very fuzzy-looking on the head. The hues of green were the most beautiful of colours I've seen on a moth! This was my spark moth! There was an unusual number of species that were perched on the road (tarmac) by the bridge in Putrajaya (a place where a primary forest used to be before the federal government cleared it for the administration buildings.)

Habitat:

Not sure as I found it on tarmac.

Yes, Angkor Wat was amazing! Ta Prohm was one of my favorite being left to nature. Cool, your moth has a friend. I look forward to more spottings from you.

Just added two more pictures to this. Note the other specie next to this moth. It was a field day for me to encounter so many at one place.

Hello! Thank you & yes, it's Ta Phrom in Angkor Wat! Gigantic roots! Have more moths to post & doing it on my Galaxy Note so certain functions are limited. I have several angles to each moth but I'm limited to one on the Android. Have to wait till I get back to my computer.

Awesome spotting! Love these moths. Welcome to Noah Pamela. Like your avatar pic, that's Angkor Wat, right?
