For those not privy to the background to Emmy's duck comment, when we found this turtle, he was in a staring contest with a duck, and they were standing there perfectly still not moving. When we got closer, the duck, embarrassed by her association with this "non-duck," (not sure why that is in quotes) swam away as inconspicuously as possible like she was just out for stroll or a smoke or something to that effect. The turtle, in his stoic way, never moved a muscle. We like to think we get some credit for his win in the staring contest.
