Spotted Antbird

Hylophylax naevioides

Description:

Like most antbirds, the Spotted Antbird is found in the understory of moist tropical forests, feeding on arthropods. The male, seen here, is distinctive with its rufous back, gray head, white underparts, and black-spotted band.

Habitat:

Midland rainforest

Notes:

Was almost tame, allowing me to approach closely and take many great pictures.
