A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
A very small (6 mm) black arachnid with two "large" pincers on the front legs.
Found in the cracks of a cement block building (700 masl) in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador.
Never seen one before, but now that I know where to look, I see them once in a while. I will try to get a better picture.

Thanks Linnea. My picture is poor enough it's hard to say. I think you are on the right track. I'm going to see if I can find some more now that I know where to look and see if I can update with a better picture. Thanks for your interest.
It might be a Chelifer cancroides (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelifer_c...).
